Description

Company in San Luis Obispo seeks a motivated team player for a highly detailed Customer Care Expert position. 

This is a full-time Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, temporary-to-hire position.

The best candidates will be team players with a sense of humor who are detailed, service-minded and computer savvy. This is a deadline driven environment so applicants must be able to think quickly and perform duties accurately.

Duties include:

  • Answering the telephone
  • Processing product orders 
  • Answering customer inquiries and troubleshooting problems
  • Documents customer interactions in company tracking program
  • Performs testing on new product releases/heavily relied upon during product's biennial rewrite
  • Other clerical tasks as assigned. No cold calling or sales quotas. 

Requirements

  • Two years of customer service experience
  • College degree from an accredited university (or equivalent work experience)
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and type 45 wpm (applicants will be tested on these programs)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Must be able to lift 25lbs
  • Pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen and nationwide background check.

Bonus Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in editing, proofing, writing, shipping and Quickbooks
